Rocket Launch

Rocket launch will take place Saturday October 29th from 1:00 P.M.-5:00 P.M. The Wolf families help run the Rocket launch. The pack provides a rocket kit to each scout to assemble with his or her parents or den. On launch day, the pack provides launchers and 3 engines for some amazing STEM fun. THE ROCKET MUST BE ASSEMBLED, GLUED AND PAINTED 24 HOURS PRIOR TO ROCKET LAUNCH TO ALLOW FOR THEM TO DRY.

Here’s the launch schedule. the Wolf Dens have split to make it easier to volunteer without missing out on your scout’s launch.

1-1:45PM, Lion Den, Wolf Den 2
1:30-2:30PM, Tiger Dens, Wolf Den 2
2:15-3PM, Bear Dens, Wolf Den Den 5
3-4PM, Webelos Dens, Wolf Den 5 & 9
4-5PM, AOL dens, Wolf Den 9

Launch area will be in the field to the east of Silvercrest Elementary. When you arrive to volunteer, please check-in at the engine/prep table with to see where your help is needed.
